# A thousand photos and no book.

Our wedding photos are still in a folder. We’re building in.photo because I wanted them in a book.

## How it started.

We didn’t have a photographer at our wedding. I wanted to see it through our guests’ eyes, but I didn’t fancy chasing a hundred people for their photos. I paid about $100 for a QR code service and we put the code on the invitations.

People really started adding photos when they saw them going up on the wall. By the end, we had about a thousand. Then came the download. To get the book I wanted, I’d have to pick the photos, upload them somewhere else and spend another $100. I never got round to it. They’re still in a folder I don’t open.

With in.photo, we’ll take that next step for you: a book draft made from everyone’s pictures and words. You’ll be able to review it, change it and order a copy. Sharing and the live wall will be free, and we’ll earn money from the books.

We’re a family of four with two small kids. This is our family business, built around something we wanted ourselves and the hope of having more time together. If you’re planning something, or you have a question, send us a note. We’d like to hear what you’d want in your book.

## A few things we’ve settled.

- Guests add photos from the browser, without an app or an account.
- Turn sharing off to pause guest access. Turn it back on and the same link and QR code work again.
- You’ll review the book and see the full cost before choosing to order.
- Your photos stay yours. We’ll let you download the collection whether or not you buy a book.
